1. The primary election which ends at the close of qualifying on August 6, 2004;

2. The general election on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 ; and,

3. The run-off election on Saturday, December 4, 2004.

This will allow an individual donor to make a contribution of $6,000 before August 6, 2004 , designating $2000 to each of the three election cycles.

· Federal political action committees (PACs) are limited to $5,000 per election cycle or a total of $15,000 if the contribution is made before August 6, 2004 and $5000 is designated to each of the three election cycles.

· Partnership contributions are allowed and the contribution counts proportionately against each contributing partner’s limit.

· Corporations, labor organizations, national banks, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals (excepting those with “green cards”) are not permitted to make contributions according to Federal Law.

· Federal Law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. All contributions are publicly disclosed.

· Contributions to Schwertz for Congress are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
