Urges Party to Actively Pursue Minority Voters

In a well-received message, New Orleans Businessman and Second Congressional District Candidate Art Schwertz chastised those at the Louisiana Republican Convention on Saturday for not actively seeking out the minority vote in Orleans Parish.

"Many in the Black Community are lamenting how the Democratic Party takes their vote for granted and the Republican Party acts as if it is not interested in their vote. It is time for this to change," Schwertz noted.
